Ladies' Bible Studies

The purpose of our Ladies Bible Studies is to provide opportunities for the women of our church to study the Scriptures together.  Typically we have a Monday evening and a Tuesday morning Bible study in the winter and spring months.  Child care is provided for the Tuesday morning Bible Study.

Fishermans and Hunters Fellowship

The Fishermans and Hunters Fellowship Committee plans two major events each year:

The annual Hunters Fellowship is usually held the 3rd or 4th Friday in January.  It consists of a wild game dinner, open to everyone, with a speaker addressing hunting interests.  Its purpose is to reach out to men, women and children with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The men bring in their trophies and displays, and it is a great evening of Christ-centered fellowship.  We have enjoyed this fellowship for the last thirteen years.

The committee also plans a Fishing Derby for children and adults on the first Sunday of June at a local pond.  Like Hunters Fellowship, the purpose of this event is to encourage and mingle our children and teens around a fishing rod and a picnic.  Everyone is welcome to come and fish just watch the children have a good time.  The largest game fish a child catches will be mounted free.

Fun & Fellowship and Sports Committees

The Fun and Fellowship Committee seeks to plan and organize activities that would appeal to a wide variety of interests. Those individuals who share in that interest are encouraged to participate.

The Sports Committee plans athletic events for the life of the church. This committee oversees a number of competitive volleyball teams at different skill levels that participate in a local church league. 

Senior (Adult) Choir

The Senior Choir is open to anyone who is of youth fellowship age or older. Our adult choir practices on Sunday evenings following our worship service and is directed by Ray Doutrich. Their primary ministry is the Christmas Cantata, which is usually performed on the Sunday evening before Christmas.  This year's Cantata will take place on Sunday, Dec. 21st, at 7:00 pm.

Male Chorus

Male Chorus rehearses the first and last Sunday evenings of the month at 6 pm. Pastor Heller is the director of the Men’s Chorus. They minister to us in song on the first Sunday evening of the month. 

Young Adults Connection

The BFC Board of Youth and Young Adults publishes a seasonal newsletter, The Connection, for young adults in the denomination.  They also put on a yearly Young Adult Retreat at Pinebrook Bible Conference.  The next young adult retreat will be on Feb. 15-17, 2008.  To join the BFC Young Adult email list, click here, or email Pastor Andy Cossgrove at andyc@faithbfc.org.
